Node.js app: Upstream not ready

When I follow the steps described in the Node.js announcement blog post (here: https://blog.alwaysdata.com/2017/09/05/ … lwaysdata/), the website gives me an error "Upstream not ready". In the access logs I can only find a 502 error without further detail.

I can successfully run it locally like so:

ALWAYSDATA_HTTPD_PORT=10400 ALWAYSDATA_HTTPD_IP=185.31.... node app.js

Pointing my browser to that URL works.

But configuring as a Site in the admin doesn't work and gives the above error.

Re: Node.js app: Upstream not ready

Hello,

2 problems here:

- your working directory started with a /, which in this field, means it's a (real) absolute directory. I removed it (which means it's now relative to your home directory)

- you can't use $ALWAYSDATA_HTTPD_IP in the environment field, that won't work

Re: Node.js app: Upstream not ready

Yes, that worked. Thanks for your help.

Now I'm stuck with a "Connection to upstream refused" when trying to run Ghost. Again, it works when running from an SSH terminal, but doesn't when setting up as a Site. Probably has to do with the Ghost app specifically, because the myapp actually works. I will send a support request.
